An important lesson from Maryam Manteghi at the time when people, unfortunately, are fencing with vanities. So simple. „Good luck street“. A phenomenal book, rich in the images of Iranian, Western and Bosnian culture. Much detail can be learned about religions, customs and contrasts. Skillfully written by the pen of a well-read, educated woman, who is built of multiculturalism and has a great heart that understands the difficulties of life of the locals wherever she finds herself, and depicts essential and powerful scenes and details of different fates. She has a dominant sincerity and youthful joy while traveling and fighting cancer that befell her. An autobiographical tale. I can’t remember the last time I learned so many interesting sociological and historical details, thanks to author’s versatility and innate love for soul and life. A book that teaches with gravity on the one hand and optimism on the other, as well as that brave and witty madness of youth.

Maryam recently visited Belgrade to promote her book and fascinated us, and she was fascinated by Belgrade. We expect, like she promised us, for Belgrade to become a part of the new book she is writing.

Važna lekcija od Marjam dok se ljudi mačuju sujetama. Tako jednostavno. „Ulica dobre sreće“. Fenomenalna knjiga bogata slikama iranske, zapadne, bosanske kulture. Mnogo se detalja može naučiti o religijama običajima i kontrastima. Pisana vešto, perom načitane obrazovane žene koja sazdana iz multikulturalnosti velikom širinom srca razume težinu života meštana gde god se nađe i predočava nam suštinske i snažne scene i detalje različitih sudbina. Ima dominantnu iskrenost i mladalačku vedrinu dok putujući vodi bitku i sa rakom koji je zadesio. Autobiografska priča. Nisam odavno saznala toliko zanimljivih detalja socioloških, istorijskih a za to je zaslužna autorkina svestranost i urođena ljubav prema duši i životu. Knjiga koja uči potresno s jedne strane i optimizmom sa druge strane kao i onom hrabrom duhovitom ludošću mladosti.

Marjam je nedavno posetila Beograd povodom promocije svoje knjige i očarala nas a nju je očarao Beograd. Očekujemo, kako nam je obećala da će i Beograd postati delić njene nove knjige koju piše.
